New Guinean Pound - Coins

Coins

In 1935, 3 and 6 pence and 1 shilling coins were introduced, followed in 1936 by 1 penny coins. The penny was minted in bronze, with the 3 and 6 pence in cupro-nickel and the shilling in sterling silver. All the coins were holed.
