Nepenthes Inermis

Nepenthes inermis ( /nɨˈpɛnθiːz ɪˈnɜrmɪs/) is a tropical pitcher plant endemic to Sumatra. The specific epithet inermis is Latin for "unarmed" and refers to the upper pitchers of this species, which are unique in that they completely lack a peristome.
