Nelson Ramón Cruz Martínez (born July 1, 1980) is a Dominican Major League Baseball outfielder for the Texas Rangers. Cruz is best remembered for his dominant performance in the 2011 ALCS, against the Detroit Tigers. He had 6 home runs and 13 RBIs, en route to being named the MVP of the series.
