Famous quotes containing the words current, elected and/or officials:

Without the Empire we should be tossed like a cork in the cross current of world politics. It is at once our sword and our shield.

He considers himself the Lord’s annointed,
And indeed the ointment lingers on him
So thick you can’t get your fingers on him.
    Ogden Nash (1902–1971)
