Famous quotes containing the words incidents, national and/or conventions:

    Walter Bagehot (1826–1877)

Not one of our national officers ever has had a dollar of salary. I retire on full pay!
    Susan B. Anthony (1820–1906)

    Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803–1882)
