National Alternative Party - Party Program

Party Program

  1. To have a truly national party to fill the existing political void in Canada.
  2. To have Members of Parliament who will, with the right of a free vote, represent the interests of their constituents as long as that vote is not in contradiction to the general philosophy of the Party.
  3. To unite the different regions of the country by respecting their differences instead of attempting to eliminate them.

The party promised a new political approach based upon the right of MPs to vote freely and represent the interests of their constituents while respecting the differences between regions.

Famous quotes containing the words party and/or program:

I never knew anyone yet who got up at six who did anything more useful between that time and breakfast than banging a tennis ball up against the side of the house, waiting for the more civilized members of the party to get up.
    Robert Benchley (1889–1945)

Mead had studied for the ministry, but had lost his faith and took great delight in blasphemy. Capt. Charles H. Frady, pioneer missionary, held a meeting here and brought Mead back into the fold. He then became so devout that, one Sunday, when he happened upon a swimming party, he shot at the people in the river, and threatened to kill anyone he again caught desecrating the Sabbath.
