Naqvi

The Naqvi sadah (Arabic: السادة النقاويين‎) are people with the last name "Naqvi" and who are direct descendants of the prophet Muhammad through the lineage of the Imam Ali al-Naqi. Some Naqvis trace their ancestry back to Ali al-Naqi through his son Ja'far al-Tawwab (The Repenter), while others trace it through his other son, Husain ul Asghar.
