Transportation
Namsos Airport is located just outside of the town of Namsos, with flights to Trondheim, Mosjøen, Bodø. Norwegian County Road 17 runs through part of the municipality. The closed Namsos Line runs from Namsos to Grong. The island of Otterøya is connected to the mainland via the Lokkaren Bridge.
