Future
The library is preparing for a new building which will be 80,000 square feet (7,400 m2) situated in downtown Nampa. Funding for this library is part of an Urban Renewal Project recently approved by the City of Nampa. Construction of the new library facility was anticipated to begin in 2008. However, it was put on hold for several years. In early 2012, the mayor's e-news announced that a master developer was chosen for the library and the "pivot block." The library also started working with FFA, a consulting firm.
