He carries a seemingly empty rucksack, from which he continually pulls either oranges or apples. He describes this as "just a trick". He is also a gambler, and a cheat. He says is sometimes known as "Nakor the Blue Rider" due to his magnificent black stallion and luxurious blue robes, though at no point in any of the books does he actually posess either a blue cloak or horse. During the epilogues of Prince of the Blood and Kings Buccaneer he is rewarded each time with both horse and cloak for his deeds, but again neither are actually seen.
