Murdoch Park 'n' Ride

Murdoch Park 'n' Ride was a Transperth bus station located in Murdoch, Western Australia. In 2007 it was replaced by Murdoch railway station, which incorporates a bus facility on a bridge structure extending over the Kwinana Freeway carriageways and train station. The Park 'n' Ride no longer exists as a bus station, but now operates as a fully integrated bus/train interchange. The buses now leave from the purpose-built bus way bridge that runs parallel to the South Street overpass.

Famous quotes containing the words murdoch, park and/or ride:

We shall be better prepared for the future if we see how terrible, how doomed the present is.
    —Iris Murdoch (b. 1919)

Linnæus, setting out for Lapland, surveys his “comb” and “spare shirt,” “leathern breeches” and “gauze cap to keep off gnats,” with as much complacency as Bonaparte a park of artillery for the Russian campaign. The quiet bravery of the man is admirable.
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)

Only the desert has a fascination—to ride alone—in the sun in the forever unpossessed country—away from man. That is a great temptation.
    —D.H. (David Herbert)
