Famous quotes containing the words mummy and/or paper:
“I must work, so as not to be a fool, to get on, to become a journalist, because thats what I want!... I cant imagine that I would have to lead the same sort of life as Mummy ... and all the women who do their work and are then forgotten. I must have something besides a husband and children, something that I can devote myself to!”
—Anne Frank (19291945)
“All the reputedly powerful reactionaries are merely paper tigers. The reason is that they are divorced from the people. Look! Was not Hitler a paper tiger? Was Hitler not overthrown?... U.S. imperialism has not yet been overthrown and it has the atomic bomb. I believe it also will be overthrown. It, too, is a paper tiger.”
—Mao Zedong (18931976)
