Multimedia Learning
Multimedia learning theory describes the cognitive science principles of how to most effectively deliver multimedia learning. Cognitive research and theory suggest that selection of appropriate concurrent modalities may enhance learning, as may application of several other principles.
However, the mechanisms for these beneficial effects are understood imprecisely, and research has found that such principles may not apply generally outside of laboratory conditions.
