Box Office
The film was heavily hyped before release due to the A list cast resulting in excessive media focus on the film. It however flopped at the Indian box office, earning only 17 Crore. This was attributed to lacklustre reviews and to a certain extent the competition it faced from Devdas which was still strong in its third week. The film however performed better overseas.
