Muhammad Kurd Ali
Muhammad Kurdali (1876–1953) (Arabic: محمد كردعلي) was a notable Syrian scholar, historian and literary critic in the Arabic language. He was the founder and director of the Academy of the Arabic Language in Damascus (1918) till his death.
