Format
The format of the game follows previous seasons: Roadies ride Hero Honda Karizma bikes along a pre-determined route. At each destination, the Roadies participate in various tasks, which can be either "money tasks", where Roadies add cash to the overall prize based on successful completion, or "immunity tasks", where the winning Roadie or Roadies are immune from being voted out for the next round. There is a "vote out" in which Roadies can be eliminated from the competition. The tasks can be team based or individual. At the end of the journey, the remaining Roadie wins the cash accumulated from the money tasks.
Bollywood actor Gulshan Grover makes appearances to introduce "twists", or changes to the standard game rules. This can be in the form of eliminating more than one player, sparing a player from elimination, and even bringing a player back. He can also initiate a vote out.
The show is loosely inspired by the MTV-USA reality show Road Rules which started in 1995.
