Transfer To Pullmantur
It was announced on March 20, 2012 that the Monarch of the Seas will be transferred to Pullmantur Cruises sometime between March/April 2013. She and her sister ship MS Sovereign will be the flag ships of the fleet. It is also expected for her name to be changed and shortened to MS Monarch. It was later announced she will not follow the rest of the fleet sailing between Europe and Brazil but will instead sail year-round in the Southern Caribbean.
