Death of Norman Hetherington
On 6 December 2010, Norman Hetherington died in Sydney after a long illness. This prompted an outpouring of tributes in newspapers from many generations who had grown up with this long running children's television show. Mr Hetherington is survived by his wife, son, daughter and two grandchildren.
