Mr Crowley Live EP

Mr Crowley Live EP

Mr. Crowley Live EP is a live EP released by Ozzy Osbourne in 1980. It had three tracks performed at the Southampton, UK, show that same year. The track list included "Mr. Crowley", "Suicide Solution" and "You Said It All", a song which was written in the sound-check for that show and, according to several sources, was actually recorded in the soundcheck with crowd-noise subsequently added. This was the only live recording of Randy Rhoads ever to be released prior to Tribute with the exception of the live B-side of "I Don't Know" on the 7" of Over The Mountain / Flying High Again.

In 1981 the EP was re-released as a picture disc. Side 1 featured an outtake photo from the Diary of a Madman LP cover shoot. Side 2 had another outtake photo from the Diary of a Madman album photo shoot, this time of a close up of Ozzy. The back jacket featured the original EP front cover of Ozzy in concert. This picture disc is highly sought after by collectors.

Famous quotes containing the words crowley and/or live:

To read a newspaper is to refrain from reading something worth while. The first discipline of education must therefore be to refuse resolutely to feed the mind with canned chatter.
    —Aleister Crowley (1875–1947)

To stroll is a science, it is the gastronomy of the eye. To walk is to vegetate, to stroll is to live.... To stroll is to enjoy, it is to assume a mind-set, it is to admire the sublime pictures of unhappiness, of love, of joy, of graceful or grotesque portraits; it is to plunge one’s vision to the depths of a thousand existences: young, it is to desire everything; old, it is to live the life of the young, to marry their passions.
    HonorĂ© De Balzac (1799–1850)
