Location and Access
Mount Merrion is 3 kilometres (2 mi) southwest of the area known as Merrion and 5.6 km west of DĂșn Laoghaire. With its close proximity to University College Dublin at Belfield, many students live in the area.
The district is in the Dublin South electoral constituency, and Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County (following the abolition of County Dublin as an administrative division of the state).
