Cultural Activities
The cultural society of the college is a widely acknowledged society within Delhi University with their teams winnings various competitions on national level. In fact the western dance group team of the college has won many competitions in the past few years. which includes participation in institutes like IIT Mumbai, IIT Kanpur, IIT Delhi, BITS Pilani, Delhi University Nexus etc. Moti Lal Nehru College was one of the nine colleges which participated in the Sahitya Akadami's poetry competition. Candidates who have fared well in the sports and have certificates related to swimming, basketball, football, tennis, boxing, judo, volleyball are given special sports quota preference. The college has been lifting the coveted Chancellor's Trophy for ten years.In the year 2012 the college achieved great heights on the placement of Mr.Pratik Nayek with one of the best packages to Japan.He being a Student of B.com(hons.) and also the topper of the course during his session.The college is now recognized for its renowned teachers who have led students attain new heights in life.
