Famous quotes containing the words blessed, sacrament, elementary and/or school:

Happy is that mother whose ability to help her children continues on from babyhood and manhood into maturity. Blessed is the son who need not leave his mother at the threshold of the world’s activities, but may always and everywhere have her blessing and her help. Thrice blessed are the son and the mother between whom there exists an association not only physical and affectional, but spiritual and intellectual, and broad and wise as is the scope of each being.
    Lydia Hoyt Farmer (1842–1903)

Work! Labour the aspergas me of life; the one great sacrament of humanity from which all other things flow—security, leisure, joy, art, literature, even divinity itself.
    Sean O’Casey (1884–1964)

When the Devil quotes Scriptures, it’s not, really, to deceive, but simply that the masses are so ignorant of theology that somebody has to teach them the elementary texts before he can seduce them.
    Paul Goodman (1911–1972)

I go to school to youth to learn the future.
    Robert Frost (1874–1963)
