Notable Alumni
One notable alumnus of Morpeth is Dr Derek Plumb (Morpeth: 1956-62) who, following obtaining a First Class degree in History whilst at Corpus Christi, Cambridge and a subsequent PhD, also at Corpus, taught as a house master at Dulwich College and subsequently, became Head of History at Brentwood School. The late Dr Plumb was an authority on the Lollards and the English Reformation.
