More And More (Captain Hollywood Project Song)

"More and More" is the title of a song recorded by German eurodance act Captain Hollywood Project. The lead vocal on the track is sung by Nina Gerhard. The first single from his debut album Love Is Not Sex, this dance song was a hit in several countries, particularly in Germany, where it reached number-one for eight weeks. The single was released in July 1992, and was also a crossover pop hit in the U.S., where it reached number 17 on the Billboard Hot 100 in June of 1993. The song remained in the Top 40 for 12 weeks and, to date, it is Captain Hollywood Project's only pop hit in the U.S. The song is currently the 99th best-selling single of all time in Germany.

A remix of this track is included in Offer Nissim's Happy People Album (2008).

The track was the theme song for the first sketch featuring The Roxbury Guys on Saturday Night Live. All subsequent editions of the sketch used Haddaway's "What Is Love."

Famous quotes containing the words more, hollywood and/or project:

Sebastian: When we’re up in the air, I fall more and more in love. You too, no?
    Holly: No!
Sebastian: Oh, a girl may say no, but the woman in her means yes.
    Fredric M. Frank (1911–1977)

That’s one thing I like about Hollywood. The writer is there revealed in his ultimate corruption. He asks no praise, because his praise comes to him in the form of a salary check. In Hollywood the average writer is not young, not honest, not brave, and a bit overdressed. But he is darn good company, which book writers as a rule are not. He is better than what he writes. Most book writers are not as good.
    Raymond Chandler (1888–1959)

Oh Death he is a little man,
And he goes from do’ to do’ ...
—Federal Writers’ Project Of The Wor, U.S. public relief program (1935-1943)
