Recent School Changes
With the completion of the new high school in 2005, the Montgomery Township School District has reorganized its grades. The old middle school is now Montgomery Lower Middle School, serving grades 5 and 6, while Montgomery Upper Middle School serves grades 7 and 8 in the old high school. The new high school serves grades 9-12. Up until the completion of the Lower Middle School in 1996 (originally called Montgomery Middle School), this building housed grades 7-12.

Famous quotes containing the word school:
“Sure, you can love your child when he or she has just brought home a report card with straight As. Its a lot harder, though, to show the same love when teachers call you from school to tell you that your child hasnt handed in any homework since the beginning of the term.”
—The Lions Clubs International and the Quest Nation. The Surprising Years, II, ch.3 (1985)
