Sherman Silver Act
Sanders and Power were Republicans from Helena, Montana. At the Fifty-first Congress they were two representatives that helped pass the Sherman Silver Act on September 11, 1890. The Sherman Silver Act made silver to be purchased at market price. This was during the urban populism and free silver era in Montana. The pass of this act was historical in the state of Montana.
