The Monroe Free Press is a weekly newspaper serving the Monroe, Louisiana, El Dorado, Arkansas area. The Free Press, established in 1969 by Roosevelt Wright, Jrl, is the largest of two weekly newspapers in Monroe serving the African-American community.
