Kingdom of Laos (1946-1975)
The Kingdom of Laos was formed in 1946. This was the first time that a Lao monarch has ruled over Laos as a whole state until the Communist takeover in 1975, which then resulted in the overthrowing of the popular monarchy and ending a 600 year old monarchy.
