'Mohammed Ameziane (Berber language: also: Sherif Mohammed Ameziane) was a leader of the Moroccan Rif (North Eastern Morocco) resistance against the Spanish occupation of Northern Morocco. His operations and wars took place in the Eastern Rif region especially in the current Nador province.
