Early Life
Vaughn played high school baseball at New Canaan Country School in New Canaan, Connecticut. He also attended and played for Trinity-Pawling School in Pawling, New York. He then moved on to play baseball at Seton Hall University, South Orange, New Jersey, along with seven-time All-Star Craig Biggio.
