Miyapur

Miyapur ( /ˈmiːjɑːpʊər/ MEE-yah-poor; Telugu: మియాపూర్), is a suburb of Hyderabad, AP, India. Miyapur is part of "Greater Hyderabad", which is administered by GHMC and developed by HMDA.

Miyapur hosts residential apartments, colonies, schools and hospitals. It is developing into a major residential, educational, transportation and commercial hub. It is designated as a "high-rise" zone and the demand for real-estate has increased. Two lakes add to other recreational and entertainment facilities.

Miyapur is one of Hyderabad's busiest places at the head of the Miyapur - LBNagar high-density traffic corridor. Industrial facilities include IT, pharmaceutical, apparel and IDA-Bollaram. It is strategically located on NH9, the Pune-Hyderabad-Machilipatnam highway. Contributing to the growth is the Miyapur-Kompally Intermediate-Ring-Road (ImRR), connecting NH7 and NH9, and developments like the Hyderabad Metro and ICBT.
