Miss Hong Kong Showing At The International Beauty Stage
Miss Hong Kong and her runner-up are sent by TVB to represent Hong Kong at various international pageants. Before 2008, the tradition was only Winner, and 1st runner-up compete in a major pageant, but the tradition was broken, due to the 2008 Winner Edelweiss Cheung refusing to compete. The first runner-up Skye Chan replaced her.
- Miss Hong Kong competes in Miss Chinese International Pageant and/orMiss World. (As of 2001 TVB has stopped sending representatives to Miss Universe.)
- First runner-up competes in Miss Internationaland/or Miss World.
- 2nd runner-up competes in Miss International if they do compete in a major pageant.
