Other Infrastructure
Electricity to the town is provided by Reliance Energy limited. Sky-walks connect the railway stations of Mira Road Bhayander to nearby lanes and bus stops.
Water supply for drinking and other purposes is provided by the Mira-Bhayander Municipal Corporation through Shahad Temghar (STEM) Water Authority. This authority takes water from the Ulhas River at Shahad and supplies it to Thane, Bhiwandi and Mira-Bhayander after filtration at its plant at Temghar village on the outskirts of Bhiwandi.
