Legacy
The Mike Kelley Foundation for the Arts was established by the artist in 2008 prior to his death. It will continue to make grants to institutions in line with Kelley's wishes and established practice. Friend and active supporters of Kelley, former MOCA chief curator Paul Schimmel and art historian John C. Welchman serve as co-directors of the foundation.
