Middlesbrough F.C. Reserves and Academy - Reserves

Reserves

Middlesbrough Reserves (also referred to as the Development Squad) play in The Central League, East Division, of which they were champions in 2010–11. Since there are only 14 games in the league, the reserves also play in a number of friendly games throughout the season.

Since summer 2010, the reserve team has been managed by Steve Agnew, a role he retained following Tony Mowbray's appointment as manager in November that year. On 7 January they beat Marske United 4–0 at Mount Pleasant with First team manager Tony Mowbray observing from the stands.

Famous quotes containing the word reserves:

While you are nurturing your newborn, you need someone to nurture you, whether it is with healthful drinks while you’re nursing, or with words of recognition and encouragement as you talk about your feelings. In this state of continual giving to your infant—whether it is nourishment or care or love—you are easily drained, and you need to be replenished from sources outside yourself so that you will have reserves to draw from.
    Sally Placksin (20th century)

...I want to see a film, they send the Israeli army reserves to escort me! What kind of life is this?
    Golda Meir (1898–1978)
