Mid Worcestershire (UK Parliament Constituency) - Boundaries

Boundaries

The present Mid Worcestershire constituency, which has existed since 1997, covers central and south-eastern parts of the county of Worcestershire. It covers most of the Wychavon district, including Broadway, Droitwich and Evesham, but excluding the areas around Pershore (which is in the Worcestershire West constituency) and around Inkberrow (in the Redditch constituency).

The original constituency, which was created in 1983, covered a much different area. Situated to the north of Worcester, it included the towns of Droitwich and Redditch.

Famous quotes containing the word boundaries:

We must be generously willing to leave for a time the narrow boundaries in which our individual lives are passed ... In this fresh, breezy atmosphere ... we will be surprised to find that many of our familiar old conventional truths look very queer indeed in some of the sudden side lights thrown upon them.
    Bertha Honore Potter Palmer (1849–1918)

Whereas the Greeks gave to will the boundaries of reason, we have come to put the will’s impulse in the very center of reason, which has, as a result, become deadly.
    Albert Camus (1913–1960)

We love to overlook the boundaries which we do not wish to pass.
    Samuel Johnson (1709–1784)
