Microsoft Visual Studio - Visual Studio Application Lifecycle Management

Visual Studio Application Lifecycle Management is a collection of integrated software development tools developed by Microsoft. These tools include IDEs, source control, work items, collaboration, metrics, and reporting tools. Visual Studio Application Lifecycle Management consists of four products:

  • Visual Studio, which provides an IDE (Integrated Development Environment) for development and client side interfaces for the other products.
  • Visual Studio Test Professional, which provides an IDE for software testers to create and execute tests.
  • Team Foundation Server, which provides Source Code collaboration and data storage.
  • Visual Studio Lab Management, which provides a way for software testers to create and manage virtual environments.

Famous quotes containing the words visual, studio, application and/or management:

For women ... bras, panties, bathing suits, and other stereotypical gear are visual reminders of a commercial, idealized feminine image that our real and diverse female bodies can’t possibly fit. Without these visual references, each individual woman’s body demands to be accepted on its own terms. We stop being comparatives. We begin to be unique.
    Gloria Steinem (b. 1934)

The studio has become the crucible where human genius at the apogee of its development brings back to question not only that which is, but creates anew a fantastic and conventional nature which our weak minds, impotent to harmonize it with existing things, adopt by preference, because the miserable work is our own.
    Eugène Delacroix (1798–1863)

By an application of the theory of relativity to the taste of readers, to-day in Germany I am called a German man of science, and in England I am represented as a Swiss Jew. If I come to be regarded as a bête noire the descriptions will be reversed, and I shall become a Swiss Jew for the Germans and a German man of science for the English!
    Albert Einstein (1879–1955)

    The Management Area of Cherokee
    National Forest, interested in fish,
Has mapped Tellico and Bald Rivers
And North River, with the tributaries
Brookshire Branch and Sugar Cove Creed:
A fishy map for facile fishery....
