- Microsoft Math 1.0 – Available only in Microsoft Student 2006
- Microsoft Math 2.0 – Available only in Microsoft Student 2007
- Microsoft Math 3.0 – Full-featured version available as a standalone purchasable product and a scaled-down version called Encarta Calculator available as part of Microsoft Student 2008. The full-featured standalone version exclusively includes calculus support, digital ink recognition features and a special display mode for video projectors. The standalone version is also the first version of Microsoft Math to require product activation.
- Microsoft Mathematics 4.0 – This version was released in 32-bit and 64-bit editions as a free download in January 2011. It features a Ribbon interface.
