Michael Von Faulhaber

Michael von Faulhaber (5 March 1869, Klosterheidenfeld, Unterfranken – 12 June 1952, Munich) was a Roman Catholic Cardinal who was Archbishop of Munich for 35 years, from 1917 to his death in 1952. He became a prominent opponent of the Nazis, though he had for a long time maintained bridges between fascism and the Church. He ordained the current Pope Benedict XVI as a priest in 1951, and at his death he was the last surviving Cardinal appointed by Pope Benedict XV.

Yes, that’s what I needed. Living flesh from humans for my experiments. What difference did it make if a few people had to die? Their flesh taught me how to manufacture arms, legs, faces that are human. I’ll make a crippled world whole again.
Robert Tusker, and Michael Curtiz. Wells (Preston Foster)
