Mystery Science Theater 3000
The writers of MST3K were big fans of his "All Over the World" routine, and included the line as a riff in several episodes (According to "The Mystery Science Theater 3000 Amazing Colossal Episode Guide."). A portion of this can be seen in the hour-long version of the Cheap Seats episode featuring the Steve Garvey Celebrity Billfishing Tournament.

Famous quotes containing the words mystery, science and/or theater:
“All my life Ive been harassed by questions: Why is something this way and not another? How do you account for that? This rage to understand, to fill in the blanks, only makes life more banal. If we could only find the courage to leave our destiny to chance, to accept the fundamental mystery of our lives, then we might be closer to the sort of happiness that comes with innocence.”
—Luis Buñuel (19001983)
“One science only will one genius fit;
So vast is art, so narrow human wit.”
—Alexander Pope (16881744)
“We all know that the theater and every play that comes to Broadway have within themselves, like the human being, the seed of self-destruction and the certainty of death. The thing is to see how long the theater, the play, and the human being can last in spite of themselves.”
—James Thurber (18941961)
