Michael Czinkota

Michael R. Czinkota is a professor, author, former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Commerce in the United States Department of Commerce from 1987-1989, and also a former head of U.S. delegation for Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Industry Committee in Paris from 1987-1989. From 1986-1987, Czinkota was a Senior Advisor for Export Controls in the U.S. Department of Commerce, under International Trade Administration. Czinkota was awarded Significant Contribution to Global Marketing award from American Marketing Association in 2007. Also writing for newspapers such as The Washington Times, The Korea Times, and Handelsblatt, Czinkota's recent article which was published in The Bali Times, Today's Zaman, and The Korea Times, focuses on international trade and how it is crucial to revival of world economy.
