Bennett is the nephew of former Green Bay Packers and Indianapolis Colts linebacker / defensive end Tony Bennett.
On Oct 26, 2012, Bennett was sentenced in federal court in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, to 15 months in prison, after pleading guilty to wire fraud charges in relation to attempting to cash fraudulent tax refunds. Bennett has until January 18, 2013, to surrender to authorities to begin his sentence.
