Personal Life
Arias has lived in Tokyo, Japan since he was 23 and speaks and writes Japanese fluently. He has two children of mixed Japanese descent.
In 2011 Arias documented his experiences providing relief to relatives in Miyagi Prefecture during the days immediately following the TÅhoku earthquake and tsunami.
