Metropolitan Community College (MCC) serves residents of Dodge, Douglas, Sarpy and Washington counties in Nebraska.
MCC offers 106,000 complete degrees and 110 options online. MCC benefits from one of the most highly regarded Instructional Design Services departments in higher education. The Fort Omaha campus also features student housing. MCC is also contracted by the state of Nebraska to provide a limited college education to inmates housed in the states various correctional facilities. MCC Security guards received police powers after a vote by the school's board of governors on June 23, 2010.
