Student Focus

Programs take between one and two years to complete. High school students split their day between their home high school and Meridian Technology Center. Morning classes are held from 8:10 - 11:00 am while afternoon classes are from 12:40 - 3:30 pm. Transportation is provided to high school students at no cost. Adult students may attend either a half or whole day at Meridian, depending on how quickly they wish to complete their studies.

Famous quotes containing the words student and/or focus:

It is clear that everybody interested in science must be interested in world 3 objects. A physical scientist, to start with, may be interested mainly in world 1 objects—say crystals and X-rays. But very soon he must realize how much depends on our interpretation of the facts, that is, on our theories, and so on world 3 objects. Similarly, a historian of science, or a philosopher interested in science must be largely a student of world 3 objects.
    Karl Popper (1902–1994)

Let us be aware that while they preach the supremacy of the state, declare its omnipotence over individual man, and predict its eventual domination of all peoples of the earth—they are the focus of evil in the modern world.
    Ronald Reagan (b. 1911)
