Men in Fright - Notes

Notes

The film is considered one of the better of the MGM Our Gang comedies, was shot on the sets used for MGM's Dr. Kildare films. The title "Men in Fright" is meant to parody the 1934 MGM hospital-set feature Men in White (which was also parodied by the Three Stooges as Men in Black that same year).

Famous quotes containing the word notes:

Of all the horrid, hideous notes of woe,
Sadder than owl-songs or the midnight blast,
Is that portentous phrase, “I told you so,”
Uttered by friends, those prophets of the past.
    George Gordon Noel Byron (1788–1824)

Speech is an arrangement of notes that will never be played again.
    F. Scott Fitzgerald (1896–1940)

I am thankful for small mercies. I compared notes with one of my friends who expects everything of the universe, and is disappointed when anything is less than best, and I found that I begin at the other extreme, expecting nothing, and am always full of thanks for moderate goods.
    Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803–1882)
