Melanie Craft

Melanie Craft (born 1969) is an American romance novelist.

A native of Pittsburgh, Craft graduated from Oberlin College with a degree in archaeology and spent a year at the American University in Cairo. Before beginning her career as an author, she worked as a bartender, a house cleaner, a pastry chef, and a safari driver. She also was a staff member at the Deer Valley YMCA Camp located in Elk Lick, Pa.

Craft married Oracle CEO Larry Ellison in December 2003. They divorced on 28 September 2010.
