Media Corp Channel U
MediaCorp Channel U or Channel U (U頻道; pinyin: U Píndào) is Singapore's 2nd Mandarin television channel. It was created by SPH MediaWorks on 6 May 2001 to serve as an alternative Chinese channel to MediaCorp Channel 8. After the merger of SPH Mediaworks into Mediacorp since 1 January 2005, it now serves as a complementary to MediaCorp Channel 8.
