Counter Culture
Stoners
There is a certain group of MASH's children whom are often called the "Stoners". Stereotypes in this group range from skaters, to hippies, to even the hipster. They tend to congregate at lunch be around a table in he far let corner of the cafeteria. After school, they tend to group around a corner just off of school property. Here, they smoke, talk, play loud music in cheap cars, and start fires. Even those who have already graduated tend to show up at said corner. The faces seen here range from day to day, but there are always recognizable daily visitors. One, often referred to as "Stoner JEsus" is often seen their. With his six-foot-tall stance, curly mane, and "I just smoked a bowl" appearance, this hippie is easily the most recognizable. Often thought of as a bad group, these kids are actually kind-hearted and loving. Open to all and absolutely accepting, this group hold open arms to anyone "chill".

Famous quotes containing the words counter and/or culture:
“Often, when there is a conflict between parent and child, at its very hub is an expectation that the child should be acting differently. Sometimes these expectations run counter what is known about childrens growth. They stem from remembering oneself, but usually at a slightly older age.”
—Ellen Galinsky (20th century)
“Any historian of the literature of the modern age will take virtually for granted the adversary intention, the actually subversive intention, that characterizes modern writinghe will perceive its clear purpose of detaching the reader from the habits of thought and feeling that the larger culture imposes, of giving him a ground and a vantage point from which to judge and condemn, and perhaps revise, the culture that produces him.”
—Lionel Trilling (19051975)
