Famous quotes containing the words maxwell and/or hall:

Aw, it’s just like a woman. When the shootin’s all over and everything’s safe, they pass out.
Griffin Jay, and Maxwell Shane (1905–1983)

roots of pine trees pushed through the pale curves of your ribs,

O Roger, Mackerel, Riley, Ned, Nellie, Chester, Lady Ghost.
    —Donald Hall (b. 1928)
